General
repairs are usually carried out in the workshop on small electrics such as: tumble dryers,
de-humidifiers and
vacuum cleaners, particularly Dyson for which we carry a surprising amount of
running spares. From time to time it will be necessary to carry out repairs to
larger items such as washing machines, fridge freezers, larger freezers and so
on in the workshop but most usually they will be repaired off site in the
customer's home by our Service Engineers Kevin and Simon. Kevin has a vast experience
of domestic appliance repair gathered over some 35 years in the business. He is
a fully trained and qualified technician capable of working on a wide variety of
domestic appliances. His son Simon follows his father in this specialised field
and now has some 13 years experience himself.
For on-site repair in our workshop we have a minimum charge of £15 +VAT (£17.25) which is payable upon taking on the work. Our general labour rate is £30+VAT (£34.50) per hour.
We are appointed service agents to Frigidaire, Fridgemaster and Independent Service (DA) Ltd and JTM Domestic
