Essentially we sell new appliances from a wide range of manufacturers at prices comparative to the big multiples but in addition we offer a standard of service which we are proud to say is much appreciated by our customers. We sometimes able to offer graded stock with full manufacturers warranties. In addition to our new stock sales we also offer reworked stock, that is stock re-worked by our own engineers on site. This stock is most usually customer returns which we then re-furbish and clean and then sell at significantly lower prices together with a six month parts and labour warranty. When available and of good enough quality we also sell used appliances. Once again these will have been put through our workshops to ensure they are up to standard.
Used stock carries no warranty but we do operate a 30 day money back pledge which actually exceeds your statutory consumer rights. All used stock is first inspected and repaired (if necessary) in our own workshops and finally thoroughly cleaned before it is offered for sale.
We offer a full repair service on all electrical domestic appliances including microwaves and de-humidifiers.
Fuel Costs and Delivery Charges
Unfortunately due to the ever increasing cost of fuel we have had to introduce a delivery charge of £15.00 for all areas which for two men and a van for an hour or so can only be a nominal contribution to our costs.
We have a callout charge of £35 plus VAT. On site and off-site labour charges are £30 per hour.
Sadly we have had to withdraw our week-end delivery service as it has not proved cost efficient.
We will also take away your old appliance (refrigeration £10) at a cost of £5.00. For refrigeration there is a removal charge £10 per appliance. The Council refuse to take refrigeration from us and we have to pay a commercial rate to dispose of appliances. Sometimes we can make an allowance against your purchase from us for appliances capable of repair or rework.
A further advantage of buying from us is that if we have it in stock you can have the appliance straight away assuming finance is ok. There are only one or two exceptions to this policy. Remember we also offer:
